WebGazer tracks pure screen-targeted gaze. MediaPipe tracks face/iris relative coordinates.
Select which camera to use for tracking.
Compensates for eye-tracking jitter, webcam noise, and physiological eye movement during blinks.
"Dwell Trigger" lets the child pop targets simply by holding their gaze steady on them, training focused attention.
Set how long the user must hold gaze on a target before it triggers (1.0sโ4.0s). 1.5s works well for standard users; 3.0s for stronger focus training.
Reduces the number of targets during calibration. 3-point calibration is highly recommended for children who get tired easily or have highly restricted head/eye movements.
Strongly dampens involuntary head tremors or eye jitter, making targeting easier for paralyzed children.
Multiplies tracking coordinate ranges. If the child has extremely restricted eye or neck range of motion, a higher sensitivity will allow reaching the whole screen with minimal effort.
Shrinks the random target generation area. Restricting targets to the screen center accommodates limited neck mobility and avoids strain.
Scales target visual sizes and hitboxes, helping children succeed and preventing frustration.
Changes target appearance. Cute animal emojis or stars are highly engaging for younger children and encourage gaze tracking.
Switches global game palette for CVI accessibility. Can also be toggled externally via window.toggleGameTheme(themeId).
Uses browser speech synthesis to read instructions during calibration and celebrate milestones (e.g. "Great job!").
Off by default. Enable only on capable devices (WebGPU + sufficient memory/performance), especially for mobile.
Tailor Aria's personality (e.g., mention the child's name, favorite animals, or therapy goals).

How long a Time Attack round lasts (30โ300 s). Longer rounds are recommended for new or younger users.
No lives lost during this window at game start. Gives time to orient gaze before targets count against the player.
